Inveraray Castle is a Gothic Revival style country house near Inveraray, County Argyll, Scotland on the shores of Loch Fyne.
Parts of the 2012 Christmas episode of Downton Abbey was filmed here.
The estate is nicely kept and the gardens well groomed.
We visited in late May and most of the gardens were in bloom.
